Judy is a highly experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner with over 18 years of mental health care service and over a decade in program leadership and supervision. She is dual-licensed in Nebraska and holds additional licensure in Colorado and Arizona, bringing a diverse, multi-state perspective to behavioral health care. Judy offers therapy for individuals ages 3 and up, with expertise in trauma, family dynamics, aging, chronic illness, and integrated mental health care.
Judy’s approach is grounded in compassion, clinical precision, and a deep understanding of human development. Throughout her career, she has served in roles ranging from behavioral health consultant and therapist to program director and clinical supervisor. She has a strong service record in hospital systems, community health centers, and telehealth platforms. She is especially skilled in working with complex cases, dual diagnoses, and vulnerable populations, and she’s known for her ability to build lasting relationships with patients and families.
Judy holds a Master of Social Work in Family, Child, and Adolescent Psychotherapy from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s in Child Development and Family Science from South Dakota State University. Her work emphasizes evidence-based practices, nonviolent crisis intervention, and systems-based care. Judy also supervises and mentors emerging clinicians, helping shape the future of the mental health workforce.
