Our Commitment to Care

Our Commitment to Care and Continued Operations

Official Practice Update

At Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, our mission has always been clear: provide high quality, compassionate, and accessible mental health care to our community. That commitment remains unchanged.

We want to share a transparent update regarding the business side of our organization while reassuring our patients, partners, and community that care continues without interruption.

All clinical services remain fully operational. Appointments, medication management, therapy, psychological evaluations, GeneSight testing, and Spravato treatments continue as scheduled.

Continuity of Care

There is no disruption to patient services. Our providers, therapists, support staff, and leadership team remain in place and focused on delivering exceptional care.

Patients can continue scheduling appointments, attending visits, and receiving treatment exactly as they have been.

A Strategic Business Restructuring

On February 13, 2026, Nebraska Peace of Mind voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 reorganization under Subchapter V in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska. This legal framework allows small businesses to restructure financial obligations while continuing normal operations.

This step was taken proactively to strengthen long term stability, support our continued growth, and ensure we remain positioned to serve the Lincoln community for years to come.

Growth and Expansion of Services

Over the past several years, Nebraska Peace of Mind has experienced significant growth. We have served more than 9,000 patients and completed over 30,000 appointments.

As demand for mental health services increased, we expanded our clinical capabilities to provide more comprehensive medication management, enhanced care coordination, integrated pharmacy support, and advanced interventional treatments such as Spravato therapy.

These expansions were designed to improve access, elevate quality, and bring more advanced treatment options to our patients. Restructuring allows us to continue building on that progress with greater operational strength.

Leadership and Oversight

The petition was filed by Sam Hasan, Manager and CEO of Nebraska Peace of Mind Behavioral Health, LLC. The organization is represented by legal counsel experienced in business restructuring to ensure a responsible and structured process.

Chapter 11 reorganization is not a closure. It is a court supervised process that allows viable organizations to reorganize and emerge stronger.

We remain open. We remain focused. We remain committed to your care. If you have any questions, our team is available to assist you. Thank you for your continued trust in Nebraska Peace of Mind.
