Practice Updates

Thank you for being part of the Nebraska Peace of Mind community. We are always working to improve access, quality, and the overall experience for our patients, families, and partners. Below are our latest updates and announcements.

Our Growing Support Team

We’ve expanded our support team to better serve patients and providers and to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes. Please join us in welcoming:

  • Casse Brown
  • Monica Mun
  • Kyla Kilzer

Their experience and dedication are already making a difference in communication, scheduling, and day-to-day operations.

New Providers Joining Our Team

We’re continuing to grow our clinical team so we can offer more timely access to care.

Cat Youngblood, therapist, is starting this week at our Orchard location. Cat works with adolescents and adults and specializes in trauma-informed care and EMDR therapy.

Heather Bailon will be joining us in January, further expanding our ability to see new patients and support existing ones.

In addition, psychiatrist Dr. Kathy Manning has signed a contract with us to provide telehealth psychiatric services. This partnership helps us keep up with the growing demand for medication management in a flexible, accessible way.

Spravato Program Now Active

Our Spravato project is officially up and running. Spravato (esketamine) is an advanced treatment option for adults with treatment-resistant depression who have not found relief with traditional medications alone.

We recently delivered our first successful Spravato treatment to one of Tami’s patients and will begin scheduling more Spravato patients soon. The program includes careful screening, a structured treatment protocol, and close monitoring for safety and effectiveness.

If you are interested in learning more about Spravato treatment, please contact our office for additional information about eligibility, scheduling, and coverage.

Updated Electronic Forms and Screening Tools

We have updated our electronic Release of Information (ROI) forms with a more user-friendly layout that can be completed in just a few seconds. Our goal is to reduce confusion and make it easier for patients and families to authorize communication and coordination of care when needed.

We also added additional electronic screening tools to support accurate assessment, early identification of concerns, and better clinical decision-making. These tools help our providers tailor treatment plans to each person’s needs.

Insurance Updates

Due to ongoing changes in reimbursement and administrative requirements, we have stopped accepting new Molina and Medicare patients until further notice.

Established patients with Molina or Medicare can continue their care with us at this time, unless you are notified of changes. We will provide as much advance notice as possible if there are any future updates that may affect your coverage or ability to be seen in our clinic.

If you have questions about your insurance or coverage, please contact our support team and we will gladly review your options with you.

Peru State College Partnership

We are excited to share that a contract is in the works with Peru State College to provide mental health services to all of their students. This partnership will help increase access to therapy and psychiatric services for college students who may otherwise face barriers to care.

More information will be shared once the agreement is finalized, including how Peru State students can access services, what is covered, and how to schedule.

Looking Ahead

We are grateful for the trust you place in us. As we expand our team, refine our workflows, and build new partnerships, our focus remains the same: providing high-quality, compassionate, and accessible mental health care for kids, teens, adults, and families.

Thank you for being part of Nebraska Peace of Mind. If you have questions about any of these updates, please reach out to our office team.
